Please join me in celebrating Kelly and Joes much waited for and wished for pregnancy at their stunning maternity photoshoot near Cardiff. The parents to be joined me at sunset on the beach to capture some truly beautiful images of this exciting chapter of their lives together. And not only did we create images that truly capture the beauty and anticipation of pregnancy but we had a great time doing it too!
I have to say I am a sucker for a sunset photoshoot, the dreamy golden light making everything so soft, so warm and dreamy! And if that wasn’t magical enough we had this maternity photoshoot in Cardiff take place on the beach! This is one of my favourite sneaky spots along the coast. It’s usually very quiet there and not only do we get the romance of the sea and sand between our toes, there is also a dramatic cove of cliffs and boulders to use as another stunning setting.
One of the most common questions I get when planing a maternity photoshoot in Cardiff is, “what should I wear?” I’m always happy to give guidance with this to help my clients find the choice that feels right to them. But I’m even happier when a client gets to use a piece from my modest client wardrobe. This was certainly one of those times! Not only did Kelly look stunning in the simple lace kimono from my client wardrobe (pictured above) but she also stunned in the burnt orange dress also from my wardrobe (pictured below). Kelly spent an awful lot of time swooning over this dress, it really is a beautiful piece and she looked breathtaking! This dress is specifically designed for maternity photoshoots, it photographs beautifully!
This maternity photoshoot in Cardiff is, of course, primally about Kelly, about her beauty and her strength. Capturing images of her as she glows and slows down to truly appreciate what her body is doing, bringing a life into this world. A baby she has dreamed of for years is within her now her arms ready for those sweet embraces. But a maternity photoshoot in Cardiff is also a wonderful chance for a couple to celebrate together and enjoy this betwixt part of life, waiting for their baby to be earthside. And I’m happy to say that Kellys partner Joe was incredibly supportive of Kelly throughout the session, helping her every step of the way be that to ease her nerves or help her get changed in privacy! Some of my favourite shots from this session are of these two beautiful souls together, enjoying each other.
When considering a maternity photoshoot in Cardiff you have to remember that the photoshoot isn’t just about the images, the end product. But it’s the experience as a whole. It’s important that you enjoy the shoot itself, that it’s fun, relaxed and will you have happy memories of times spent together kicking up the waves at sunset whenever you look at the images we created.
